Vinerskis, Victor (Vic)
January 24, 1946 – December 5, 2025It’s with great sadness that we share news of Vic’s peaceful passing at the Hamilton General Hospital on December 5, 2025. Born in Blomberg Germany on January 24, 1946, he is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Carol Wiggins. Vic will be lovingly remembered by his children Vida (Shawn), Bronson (Carmen), Jayme (Johnny) and his stepchildren Jayson (Kerilyn), Jeffrey (Marie), and Jennifer. He was adored by his grandchildren Zeke, Maia, Kura, Maverick, Lumina, Teagan (Jordan), Shaw, Olivia, Matthew and great granddaughter Freya. He will also be very missed by his brother Ray, nephew Troy and his longtime friend Leon.
Vic was a correctional officer for the Province of Ontario for many years and remained active in OPSEU. He was an accomplished athlete in his early years and his love of sports continued throughout his life. He was also so very proud of his Lithuanian heritage.
