CATHERINE “IRENE” FOREST SAVAGE
October 15, 1931 – December 3, 2025Catherine Forest Savage, known to family and friends as Irene, passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Lanarkshire, Scotland, she was the daughter of Annie and James Savage.
At the age of 20, Irene and her younger sister left Scotland and traveled to Canada to reunite with family and begin a new life. As a young woman, she later enjoyed extensive travels with her dear friend Frankie Morris, creating memories she treasured throughout her life.
Irene will be remembered for her happy smile, her kind and gentle soul, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Winnie Brown. She was predeceased by her brothers Archie, Jim, and Dennis, and by her sisters Nancy and Jean.
She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place.
