Latendresse, Tina

Latendresse, Tina Ann
December 27, 1958 - October 5, 2025

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in Guelph on October 5, 2025 at the age of 66 years.

Tina will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Rhonda (Terry) Holmes and Robin (Steve) Przybyla, her grandchildren Cody (Kylie Jones) Lefebvre, Jacob Lefebrvre, Phillip Golemiec, Rhea Holmes, Miranda Fortier, Megan Fortier, her great-grandchild Oren Lefebvre, her brothers Tim Latendresse and Terry (Carmen) Latendresse, and her many nieces and nephews.

Born in South Porcupine to Leo and Annie Latendresse, she carried her northern roots with her throughout her life — grounded, creative, and full of warmth. She was a talented and passionate hairdresser for many years, bringing beauty and confidence to everyone who sat in her chair. Later, she found great joy in her work at Costco in Guelph, where she was known for her laughter, kindness, and the friendships she built with coworkers and customers alike.

Deeply spiritual, she had a loving faith in God and a beautiful openness to many paths — embracing both her Christian beliefs and a deep appreciation for nature, Indigenous teachings, and what she fondly called her “witchy” side. She saw the sacred in all things, and it showed in the way she lived and cared for others.

She was an artist at heart, with a lifelong love of painting, color, and creativity. Whether through her art or through dancing — which she loved dearly — she expressed joy, freedom, and connection. Her energy, humor, and spirit of love will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.

Special thanks to the care team at Hospice Wellington, as well as the Bayshore Palliative Care Nurses for their care and support.

As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.

Honoring her spirit and her love for nature, the family will gather to spread her ashes on October 18th. Though there will be no formal service, her light will continue to shine in every heart she touched.
