November 23, 1959 - July 28, 2026Michael (Mike) Stephen Crosby passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on July 28, 2026, at the age of 66.
Mike was a strong-willed, fiercely independent man who lived life entirely on his own terms. Beneath that stubborn exterior was a heart of gold. He was incredibly generous and would truly give you the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His strength, kindness, and unwavering generosity will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Mike found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved sitting outside enjoying the fresh air, trying his luck gambling, and keeping up with the news, or episodes of Mayday. A proud car enthusiast, he fulfilled a lifelong dream when he purchased his beloved 2016 Dodge Challenger, a car he was immensely proud of and loved to drive.
His greatest pride was his family. Mike is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Stacy (Alex) and Amanda (Richard); his son, Marshall; his brother, Frank (Barbe); his sisters, Clare (Howard), Lynn (Kevin) and Laurie (John) and his cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Jayda, Callie, Khaya, Milo, Lilith, and George, who will all deeply miss his love, guidance, and unmistakable presence.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the palliative care team for the compassion, dignity, and exceptional care they provided, allowing Mike to remain comfortable at home, surrounded by those he loved.
Those who knew Mike will forever hear his favourite saying, "I gotta go, eh." Though he has said those words one last time, his memory, generosity, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
