February 16, 1926 - July 28, 2026In loving memory of Johan (Joe) Sevenhuysen, born in the Netherlands on February 16, 1926 who passed peacefully on July 28, 2026, in his 101st year in Guelph, Ontario.
Joe leaves behind his loving spouse, Eve Foster, and a family whose lives were enriched by his wisdom, warmth, and love.
Joe’s life spanned more than a century of remarkable change, adventure, accomplishment, and happiness. He found joy in many things - his family, travel, sailing, his cats, painting, and playing the piano. His life was inspired by curiosity, creativity, and innovation in all that he did, built, repaired, and discovered. He will always be remembered in his signature ball cap and sunglasses, sailing blissfully into the sunset.
We are deeply grateful for the wonderful care and support the Elliott Community provided in the final years of his life.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later time.
