Katherell, Pauline Stella (née Payette)
July 14, 1928 - September 9, 2026It is with heavy hearts yet a sense of peace that we say a final goodbye to Pauline Stella Katherell. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Pauline has found rest. We find comfort in knowing that she is free from the struggles she endured.
Aquamation has taken place. At Pauline’s request there will be no formal service.
Pauline was predeceased by her son, Wayne Michael Katherell, on August 10, 2020 (born September 23, 1955) and her brother Lionel on August 29, 2015 (born June 29, 1925). She was sister to Irène Demers, aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great-aunt to one niece and several nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Eden House Care Facility for their kindness, compassion, and loving care during the last years of Pauline’s life.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Pauline with a donation are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of Guelph/Waterloo or Eden House Care Facility, 5016 Wellington Rd. 29, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 6H8.
