June 8, 1944 - April 11, 2026It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the Lovely Marjorie Krouse on April 11, 2026, with her beloved family at her side.
Married to the love of her life Bob for 61 years, Mum to Bob, Paul and Jack, Nana to William, Chloe, Sophie, Ethan, Henry and Charles.
She was born in Liverpool, England on June 8, 1944, to Alice and Joe Hughes. Always a proud Scouser, she loved the Beatles and would happily teach anyone who was interested how to “do the twist.” She loved music and dancing and was often the life of the party.
Her happy places were numerous, but the garden and the water were her favourites. Days spent tending her garden in her bare feet; dirt under her fingernails were many. The beach at Long Point for the summer or in Anguilla through the winters soaking up the sun.
A passionate lover of all animals, big or small, she spent her days caring not only for her family but a gaggle of various pets...bunnies, cats, dogs. She couldn’t even harm a fly; instead catching them in the house to release them outdoors much to her family’s dismay.
Also known for her storytelling and wicked sense of humour she loved to tell dirty jokes around the campfire with everyone in stitches. She loved to make us all laugh.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life for her family and friends will take place at a later date so that we can come together to drink half a beer, listen to the Beatles and do the twist in her honour.
