McCormack John (Jack)
June 9, 1954 – October 31, 2025It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of John at his home October 31, 2025 at the age of 71. Born June 9th 1954 in Souris, Prince Edward Island.
He will be deeply missed by wife and friend Sandy McCormack his daughters Amanda McCormack and Jennifer McBloom and grandson John-Oliver.
Predeceased by his parents Albert McCormack and Loretta McCormack (Fred Wolf).
Lovingly remembered by his siblings Lorna Cule (Milan), Mary Pender (Malcolm), Rosie Elliott (Jim), Mona Langille (Richard) and many nieces and nephews along with the extended family back on the island.
John was a proud member of local United Steelworker USW1005 as a Stelco employee for 32 years. His piercing sense of humour and witty story telling made him the life of any function he attended. He was quick to share his knowledge and passion for (loud) music, fast cars and good food.
Family will hold reception November 15th 2025 from 7pm to 10pm at The Beach Rescue Unit, 316 Beach Blvd.
