O’Marra, Francis Patrick (Frankie)
April 18, 1947 – November 04, 2025Frankie O’Marra passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on November 4, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving family.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife and friend, Elena Moreno, as well as his children, Jennifer O’Marra and Michael James O’Marra (Ashley). Frankie cherished his role as a grandfather and is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Maggie, Oliver, Arlin, Blake, and Eden.
Frankie was predeceased by his parents, Patrick O’Marra and Ruth Reineking, and his sisters, Linda O’Marra and Cheryl Puzzella. He is survived by his siblings: sisters Rebecca Wilkinson (Hugh), Carolyn Toth, and brother David Pollitt (Tracey), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will also hold his memory dear.
A proud worker in the automotive industry, Frankie enjoyed a fulfilling career as a distribution manager with Affinia, a company he greatly appreciated.
Frankie was known for his many friendships and his love for life’s simple pleasures. He was an exceptional ballroom dancer, sharing countless joyful moments on the dance floor with Elena. An avid sports fan, he passionately supported the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays, but golf held a special place in his heart. He eagerly anticipated gathering with friends for a round of golf.
He took great joy in visiting his grandchildren, sharing sleepovers, and keeping track of their achievements in hockey and lacrosse.
A kind and gentle soul, Frankie will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service, and cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Health Foundation of Canada.
