So much could be written about Alf's hobbies, his love of golf, his humour, his family and friends, now left behind.
We remember his inquisitive mind, his laugh, his kindness, his 'dad jokes' and countless stories of his life.A recurring theme to those who have been remembering him since he left us, and a phrase that has been repeated over and over, "Alf was a good man."
He was. Truly a good, decent man.
On September 9th, we said goodbye to a loving husband to Lillian, a devoted brother to Evelyn, a caring father to Linda and Michele, and wonderful grandfather to Abby.
He will be remembered by his nephews and nieces, and everyone who knew him.
And he will be deeply missed.
