April 1, 1945 - September 17, 2026It’s with great sadness that we share Trudy’s peaceful passing at Hospice Wellington on September 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply remembered by her children, Barb, Jamie (Diane) and Robby (Roisin), her granddaughters, Kylea, Amber, Gemma and Poppy, grandsons-in-law, Kyle and Marc, great grandson Levi, who was her pride and joy as well as her step grandchildren, Tammy (Chad, Jacob), and Dawn (Chase, Brock). She will also be deeply missed by all her family and friends, her roommate Diane, her dear friend Janet & everyone at Heritage House.
Her family was her world. She was very proud of them. Over the years she formed strong friendships that she cherished deeply. Trudy enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, watching movies and doing her wordsearch puzzles. She always looked forward to shopping trips and enjoying lunch dates with her family.
Many thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff on 7 East at Guelph General Hospital as well as thank you to the nurses, PSWs, doctors, and volunteers at Hospice Wellington. A special acknowledgement to Danielle and Jaqueline at 7 East as well as Afton, Susan, Claire and Dr. Graham at Hospice Wellington. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Hospice Wellington. Details for a Celebration of Life will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
