Brennan, Susan

Brennan, Susan Josephine (nee Conrad)
December 14, 1943 - June 6, 2026

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of Susan Brennan's passing at the age of 82.5.

Born in Wimbledon, England, as one of nine children, she led a life marked by remarkable kindness and dignity. Her husband, John of 60 years, daughters Deborah, Sarah, Frances, and Christina, their spouses Jerome, Neil, and Tom, and grandchildren Robert, Mya, Sebastian, Madison, Eloise, and James, as well as her grandchildren-in-law, Madeleine and Tyler, will deeply miss her.

Her professional life included serving as a personal assistant to David Crombie at Ryerson University in the 1960s and co-owning a successful jewelry business with her husband, John, for 42 years in Deep River, Ontario, and later in Stratford, Ontario. She was also an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Girl Guides, Rotary, and Kennettes.

Her selflessness, kindness, and devotion to her family were exemplary. She had an adventurous spirit and was tenacious in the face of adversity. She will be remembered for her extraordinary life and legacy.
