Everett, Rosina Cecile Everett
February 26, 1926 - October 16, 2024Rosina Cecile Everett (nee Seraphim), affectionately known as Rosie, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, in Cambridge, Ontario, at the age of 98. Born on February 25, 1926, in Maniya, Ukraine, Rosina arrived by boat to Saskatchewan as a toddler and later relocated to Ontario.
Rosina was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her children Lenore and her husband (Louie) Indrigo (Cambridge), Sonya Oprel (Brampton), Gary and his wife (Elaine) Everett (Woodstock), Karen and her husband Dale Sipko (Calgary), and Troy Everett (Cambridge). She was also a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren-Russell Maher, Mark Etchells, William Oprel, Jason Rees, Karyn Marshall, Rebecca Lehman , Beth Anne Adernacker , Jeffrey Sipko, and Nikki Haller -and adored great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren-Chantelle Maher, Damon Maher, Lucas Marshall, Noah Marshall, Christian Marshall, Ayrianah Oprel (AJ), Tatum Haller, and Annika Haller. Rosina is also survived by her sister Sylvia Reed and brother Sidney Seraphim.
Rosina was predeceased by her daughters Judith (Judy) Maher and Lynda Rees, as well as her siblings Vera Mysko, Max Sarafyn, Nick Seraphim, Tony Seraphim, Dorothy Lewis, Peter Seraphim, Anne Seraphim, and her parents Edwin and Irene.
A passionate gardener, Rosina found immense joy in nurturing her expansive vegetable and later flower gardens, which were a source of beauty and sustenance throughout her life.
