It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Stewart Jackson, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Carol Jaggard; nephew Roger Jaggard and his wife, Ronda; and niece Karen Tidey.
He was a great-uncle to Kevin, Kyle, Derek, and David, who will cherish their memories of him.
Ron brought his own special sense of humour and creativity to the family. We will miss his homemade Christmas cards, crazy hats and clothes, and, of course, his corny jokes. These little things made him unique and brought smiles and laughter to those around him.
He will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery in Burlington, alongside his parents, Roy and Marion Jackson.
A private family gathering will be held to honour and remember Ron’s life.
He will be deeply missed by his family and loved ones. His laughter, humour, and wonderful quirks will live on in our memories.
Rest in peace, Ron. Your Christmas cards, crazy outfits, and corny jokes will never be forgotten.
