Vickers Bond, Patti

Vickers Bond, Patti L.
September 25, 1968 – March 6, 2024

Strong, driven, loving, beautiful, helpful, and always there to support her family and friends in all their endeavours and projects, the world will miss Patti.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patti Vickers Bond on March 6, 2024, after a relentless and private battle with cancer.

Wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Patti leaves behind her loving husband Scott Bond, daughter Bree and her fur baby, Finn.

Patti is the youngest child of Marjorie Vickers and the late Leonard Vickers. She will be greatly missed by her sister Anne Campbell (Ken), her brother-in-law Micheal Meehan, sister-in-law Susan Vickers and Scott’s sister, Stacey Corrigan (John). Patti is the dear daughter-in-law of Wendy and Phil Bond. Patti is the “cool” aunt to her nieces and nephews, Lauren Campbell, Sarah Sikora (David), Rebecca Vickers (Matthew, Alexandra), Emma Corrigan, Abbey Corrigan, Ian Campbell, Shaun Meehan (Jessica), and Eric Vickers (Kathleen). Also missing their great-aunt are Conor and Alexander Meehan, Harriett Sikora and Calliope and Gwynn Weaver.

Patti will be missed by many friends and colleagues but especially Micheal Wiley and Melissa Posten.

Patti is pre-deceased by her sister Kathy Meehan, brother Brian Vickers and stepfather, Ivan McCallum.

In her professional career Patti was a law clerk working for a number of law firms and financial institutions in the Greater Toronto area.

Patti was a great organizer and event planner. In the 1990’s she joined the committee for Toronto Trek later known as Polaris which brought her a wide group of friends from all over. But most importantly it led to her meeting the love of her life, Scott. Ever striving to help others, Patti volunteered for Gilda’s Club of Greater Toronto, an organization that provides support to cancer patients and their families.

A celebration of life is scheduled for April 13, 2024. Please visit this link for details and RSVP!

If you would like to pay tribute to Patti, a donation in her name to a charity supporting breast cancer, your local humane society or animal rescue or just a simple kindness to someone whose life is made brighter by what you have done, would make Patti smile.

Those we love never truly leave us.
