March 11, 1938 - July 30, 2025It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marjorie Kathleen Devereux who left us on July 30, 2025 at the age of 87.
Marjorie(Marge) was born March 11, 1938 in Liverpool, England. Wife of 66 years to Joseph(deceased). Mother of Lesley, Nicola(Cecil), Michael(Monica) and Maria(Jim). Beloved Nana to Blake(Valerie), Cooper, Graham and David. Great-grandmother to Anthony, Nicholas and Leo. Pre- deceased by sister Philomena and brother Kevin. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Katherine(Jim) and Moira.
Though we mourn her loss deeply, we also celebrate the life she lived and the love she gave. Mum’s family was her whole life; she loved family dinners, music and dancing, and her beloved tennis.
Her presence will forever echo in our lives and her spirit will always guide us.
Gratitude to the nurses, doctors, personal support workers and staff at Joseph Brant Hospital. A special thank you to Evie and Kay for all the love and comfort you gave to Margie.
Cremation has taken place.
