Falls, Jeffrey

Falls,Jeffrey Steven
February 24, 1962 – November 26, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff at the age of 63. He is now resting peacefully and reunited with his parents, Lloyd (2014) and Eileen (Churchill) Falls (1999), who predeceased him. Jeff will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lisa (Holisek) Falls, her children (Matt, Dan, Brittany and Sydney), and the family’s loyal companion, Finley.

Jeff was one of seven siblings and will be forever cherished by his brothers and sisters: Stanley (Zina), Donald (Kathleen), Marilyn Bonney, Douglas (Heather), Dianne Careswell, and Doreen Giles (Ray). He was a proud uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews—each of whom brought him tremendous joy throughout his life. To know Jeff was to love him. His circle of friends was vast, and every one of them held a special place in his heart, just as he did in theirs.

Jeff had a deep love for nature and found peace in the outdoors. He spent many days fishing, appreciating the calm and beauty around him. An arborist by both profession and passion, Jeff had a unique connection with trees—he didn’t just work with them, he understood them. He was also an enthusiastic collector, taking pride in his wide-ranging treasures from coins to hockey cards and other curiosities that reflected his inquisitive spirit. Music was woven into every part of his life—from dancing in the living room to attending concerts. It brought him freedom, joy, and connection, capturing his energy, laughter, and love for life’s simple pleasures.

Jeff will be remembered with great affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will remain forever in the heart of his devoted wife, Lisa, who stood by his side with unwavering love and care. Their bond was one of true companionship and deep devotion—they were the loves of each other’s lives.

Jeff touched countless lives, and the memories he leaves behind will be treasured always.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, during which a tree will be planted in Jeff’s honour.
