A life centred on family. Family was at the heart of Garry’s life. He made it a priority to be present for the people he loved and gave of himself selflessly each day.
As Papa, he adored his grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to share in their lives.

Career and interests. Garry enjoyed a 32-year career with the MTO and later continued his work through his own civil estimating consulting business.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, he loved playing, coaching his children, cheering on his grandchildren, and following his favourite professional teams.

Garry’s strength, kindness, support, and unwavering generosity will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A private ceremony was held on August 19, 2026, to honour Garry’s life and legacy.

The family extends sincere thanks to Doctors Fewster, Ruddock, Shafir and the palliative care team at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their compassionate care and support.

Peace be with you.
