Tone, Frances Marie
1937-2026It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Frances Marie Tone, with her loving sons by her side at Barnswallow Place, in Elmira, on Wed, October 21, 2026, in her 90th year.
She was the cherished and devoted mother of Larry & Jeff (Lil). Predeceased by her parents, Frances & Joe Cassin, siblings Thomas, Bernie & sister-in-law Kathy. She is survived by brother Brian, sister Joanne (Stan) & sister-in-law Sherry. Dear sister-in-law to Doris & Dan Tone. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews & friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s RC Church in Elora on Friday, October 30-2026 Father Hayden Starczala officiating.
Donations made in Marie’s memory to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be deeply appreciated by the family.
