November 17, 1990 – October 13, 2025It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Ian Barbour, affectionately known as Daveberb or Berb, on October 13, 2025, at the age of 34.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, David was the light in every room. His incredible sense of humour and kind heart touched everyone he met. Even while facing his own challenges, he never hesitated to help others.
David loved spending time outdoors — _camping, fishing, or simply being with friends and family — and cherished his dogs, Stella and Luna. He worked at E.D. Smith, where his dedication and positive spirit were well known.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Patricia and Thomas Barbour; siblings Steven (Jessica), Mark, Paul (Kirstie), and Lisa (Wade); and his beloved nieces and nephews Sophia, Hazel, Nora, Halle, and Hunter. He is also survived by his grandmother, Jean Barbour, and was predeceased by his grandfather, Thomas Barbour Sr., and maternal grandparents, Francis and Bernard Jesty. David will also be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will follow to honour David’s memory and the love he shared with everyone around him.
