Cooper, Cory James “Coop”
September 3, 1985 – October 26, 2025Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Sunday October 26, 2025. Cory was born in Fergus, Ontario, on September 3, 1985. He was pre-deceased by his dad Jack in 2009. He is survived by his mom, Carmel Cooper, his sister Nichole (Kris), nephew Alex, nieces Skarlett and Paizlee. Cory will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Payton and her mom Katelyn. He will also be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cory loved sports, especially the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs. He would have loved to see the Jays win the world series. There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at MAPLE LEAF ACRES PARK, 6478 5th Line Rec Centre - 12 Havsum Fun Rd. in Fergus, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Thank you to the Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses at Groves Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to Nurse Ash, Doctor Raso and the ICU staff at Guelph General Hospital.
